Let me go on record as saying I have a very limited knowledge of World of Warcraft. I only started playing a few days ago. I really liked the character model of Lady Sylvanas and once her story was explained to me by a Warcraft expert I fell in love with her.

Anyway, heres a quick rendering of Lady Sylvanas, hope you all like. I think its over rendered, and I'm probably right. hah!

Velma Dinkley

I have always been a fan of the Scooby-Doo series', especially Velma. The characters have gone through some changes here and there since its original inception. A Pup Named Scooby-Doo was a favorite of mine and I appreciated the few movies they had done [not the live action ones, the Hannah Barbara ones]. They had done some other series here and there [Shaggy and Scooby-Doo get a clue was not a favorite of mine] but I have to say the new series Scooby-Doo Mystery Inc. is so far a great show.

They introduced relationships that never existed before [Velma and Shaggy are dating] and are much more obvious about Fred and Daphne's feelings for one another. The art style is reminiscent of the original style but when a modern almost Ben10 Alien Force kind of look to it.

Velma looks so cute it in it makes me wanna rip my head off and let the rainbows fly.

Anyway, this piece is in honor of the new Velma Dinkley design.

There have been quite a few Cat Woman costumes and while the current one is great the full body latex or leather suit has become a bit stale since the matrix' trinity. Not that there is anything wrong with the matrix or trinity I'm just sick of seeing everything female character in black full body latex or leather suits, its boring and overdone.

As for Catwoman, her 90s Batman animated series costume always held a special place in my heart so I decided to do a suit closely based on that. Enjoy.

While ADVENT CHILDREN definitely improved 300 percent on the look and feel of the FF7 world I still happen to like Cloud's more classic outfit. I took some ques from crisis core ZAKK but not too many. Anyway, hope you enjoy!

Four Brothers in a Halfshell Pencils

Inspired by my childhood. I always loved the turtles however I have been noticing a trend in the turtles as of late. It seems that in every piece of art depicting them they are all badass aggressive butt kickers. Now, they might have been very serious and hardcore in the original comic by Kevin Eastman and Peter Laird but what we as fans consider canon of the TMNT is the 1980's cartoon show. In this show they had so much personality and character it was fantastic. Now the TMNT movie[1990] definately brought out the best of each character's personality. And this is where my illustration comes into play. I tried to embody the main ideas of their personalities in a single pose for each character. From back to front:

Raphael went from a wisecracking "rude dude" to an aggressive hot head with a serious attitude and a problem with authorities [and guys guys in hockey masks]. Clearly my favorite turtle.

Leonardo certaintly was always the leader but he always came off the me as the serious turtles. He took his ninjitsu very seriously and played by the rules all the time.

Donetelo was always the thinker and tinkerer. Now in the movies not so much a builder of robotic stuff but he was good with contemporary tech and definately pondered many things in his turtlage.

Michelangelo was always the big kid. He did what he had to but always really wanted just to hang out and have fun. As seen here with a Gameboy [I doubt anyone would drop a DS into the sewer].

Who could have thought I could say so much about the Ninja Turtles. Go fig!

Oh Prime--you are amazing. This is totally how Prime would handle his female troubles.....yeah....

I have always been a fan of transformers and of Mr. Prime. I keep it no secret how much I dislike the big screen sequel Revenge of The Fallen. Its a big clusterfuck of plot holes and insane camera angles. The dialogue was so bad and it just blew my mind how some people were laughing in the theater. My friend told me that the movie was great because of the special effects but seriously this is why movies today suck ass! Essentially this means that a shitty story that doesn't make any sense with absolutely no continuity to its prequels is a great movie so long as the CG is good. WTF?! I'm sorry--but this movie was 100 miles long but only 2 feet deep. Pretty visuals shouldn't trump the story..

Lets fill every god damn scene with 40 explosions and a bogus 1 liner!

So I have always been fascinated with gears and cogs and such and that sort of Mad Max backwards future stuff too [Of course Tank Girl holds a special place in my heart]. So the other day I decided to do some customizing for my guitar in the vein of steampunk stuff. I figured since my guitar is a goldtop--a classic LP style guitar-- adding some more classic things to do it would be nice.. So I am replacing the old Grover tuning keys with some classic Kluson ones and getting some different P-90 pickups for a more grittier sound aaaaaand....etching out a new pickguard [im not fucking up the original I just bought a new one]. The idea is simple--gears and shit, similar to my snowboard design which will pop up after this. So anyway this is my first true etching I'll have the final piece when its all done but here is the sketch I did for it [Vector sketch].

There is a small story that goes with this drawing. I did it without Jullk knowing and then presented it to him when it was done. When he saw it he looked at it intensely for a few minutes and then said "I know this person, he looks familiar." so I rumaged through photos to get out the reference photo and showed him and he said "Its me." Then he continued to look over the picture very meticulously dissecting ever inch of it. He said things like "The flower in the lapel is exactly an inch and half out just like the photo." and "The hair line is perfect." "The teeth- perfect." What Jullk was doing was comparing it the photo reference and not to himself. The twist is the photo reference of him was from my uncle's Bar Mitzvah forty years ago. I found it really interesting that when my 85 year old grandfather [Jullk] looks in the mirror he doesn't see the same person from forty years ago, yet in truth despite the outside appearence--hes the same guy.
